How to Shut Your Competitors Up

How to shut your competitors up once and for all.

This may seem like another one of my angry rants, it couldn’t be further from the truth TBH.

I’m a big believer in that fact that:
1- if your product is awesome AND unique, there isn’t any competition.
2- There’s MORE than enough fat people to go around.

Anyway, being a dude and being a competitive in nature it still narks me when ‘rival bootcamps’ try to call us out.

This week 2 of our own trainers have had shit thrown at them , one of my mentoring students too- so i thought i’d let you in on what i told those guys.

Sure, you probably should be bigger than them and you probably shouldn’t waste your energy on these clowns but that’s easier said than done in my experience, especially if they start to question your credibility in a public domain such as facebook

Facebook can be a pain in the ass and I’d recommend being strict with the time you spend on there or it can really eat you up

Bu You know what I mean right?

They’re cheap, cheerful and train anyone with a wallet and a pulse, they haven’t done a course since they taught lat pull down behind the neck and straight leg sit ups back in the day.

Turn up when you want, turn up when you can be bothered, you see them on group on, you hear them shouting ‘we’re the best’ AND ‘were the cheapest in town’

You know who I mean right?

You may even recognize this one, especially If you value your time:
“That bootcamp (yours) is a rip off. Come to us, we’re cheaper”

“Unlike other bootcamps we don’t remove foodgroups from your diet”

“Unlike other bootcamps blah blah blah”

What they should be saying is “ I don’t value what I do, I don’t get results and I haven’t picked up a book since I finished the beano at the end of my level 3 PT course, so come and train with us, we don’t do a money back guarantee because we’re not sure what we’re doing works but you can still turn up when you want and we’ll keep taking your money”

That’s a rant for another day though!

Oh and you might also want to thank them for being so concerened about you they talk about you on THEIR website

So how do you shut them up?

Its simple.

SOCIAL PROOF.

That’s it.

SHOW the results of the people that you work with.
Before and After photos of REAL people.

ALL OF THEM.

One of my buddys and students Chris Brown recently asked the question “Would you book and stay in a hotel you knew nothing about?”
The answers were different but one of them was along the lines of “Hell no, you have no idea what it will be like. I want to know what they have, what I get, I want to see pictures of the room. I want to read reviews etc”
In other words- I want to see PROOF.

You see, FOR ME, this is what clients NEED to see, most of them MAY think ‘a bootcamp is a bootcamp right?’ but in this day and age, we need to do EVERYTHING in our power to stand out from the crowd.

MOST people are shouting at the top of their voice, ITS JUST NOISE.

Imagine your ‘competitors’ faces when your site and facebook page is covered in before and afters and all of your cleints are sharing photos like the ones below.

You see, I’d like nothing better than to debate the benefits of intermittent fasting, carb cycling, liver detoxification and the like but you’ve got to understand that these guys don’t want to debate without getting aggressive.

BECAUSE THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND IT.

You should feel sorry for them actually.

So the moral of the story “When people are calling you out, calling your camp a rip off and questioning your methods, Simply post your photos”
Easy.

I leave you with some of ours.

Competition what competition?
